Environmental compatibility

The environmental compatibility of the SAERTEX-LINER^® has been confirmed by the Hygiene-Institut des Ruhrgebiets, Gelsenkirchen with respect to groundwater and soil. There are no indications that the cured SAERTEX-LINER^® emits any environmentally relevant substances. The liner is protected by a styrene-proof PA outer film during installation and curing which is enclosed by a further light protection film. If installed correctly it is impossible for the uncured material to come into contact with groundwater and have a negative effect on this.

No toxicologically harmful substances are used in the liner´s recipe so that the cured liner has no toxic effects for the environment.

Liner residues on the building site can be laid in normal daylight to cure without the light protection film and then disposed of normal residual waste when fully cured.

Sewer renovations with the SAERTEX-LINER^® are much more environmentally sound than conventional methods in an open cut technique. The soil and nature are not destroyed and the so-called "social costs" for residents such as disturbances through noise, dirt or traffic jams are also much lower. These aspects are also exponentiated by the great speed of the system!
