Practical examples of how the SAERTEX-LINER® is used:
|
| Medium: | Surface water containing kerosene and may be contaminated with de-icing medium in winter. |
Typical waste water composition in winter:
| Temperature: | < 5 °C | |
| Chemicals with concentration | < 10 mg/l: | Formiates Ethylene glycol Diethylene glycol 1,2 propane glycol 1,3 propylene glycol |
| Maximum temperature: | 40 °C | |
| pH value: | 4 – 11 |
For sporadic loads and subsequent rinsing with clear water use SAERTEX-LINER® impregnated with polyester resin. In other cases and if the media remain in the pipe for longer (e.g. in depressions) use the SAERTEX-LINER® impregnated with vinyl ester resin.
Brewery:
| Permanent temperature: | 60 °C |
Typical waste water composition during regular cleaning:
| NaOH | 0 – 4 % | 65 °C |
| HCl | 1 – 15 % | 30 °C |
| HNO3 | 0 – 5 % | 30 °C |
|
pH value |
0 -14 |
These chemicals are normally used during cleaning. Cleaning is carried out several times a week alternately with hot lye (NaOH) and cold acids (HCl/HNO3)
